Aiguille du Midi & Step Into The Void
Step into the void is an attraction not to be missed. Feel the adrenaline rush as you stand inside a reinforced glass box suspended 1000m above the ground on the side of Aiguille du Midi’s upper terrace near the summit of Mont Blanc.
Montenvers Train & Mer de Glace + Ice Grotto
Mer de Glace is the largest glacier in France (known as the sea of ice) measuring 7km long by 200m deep. One of the key sights of Chamonix, it can be accessed via the Montenvers funicular train which climbs a steep track to a stunning vantage point above.
Chamonix has a great selection of musical events to be enjoyed throughout the year. The mighty Musilac festival takes place annually in April attracting visitors from around the world. Alongside Musilac, Chamonix has small intimate jazz venues and the ever enjoyable Cosmo Jazz Festival to look forward to.
A year round experience in Chamonix, there is no better way to take in the spectacular scenery. Whether trekking in the summer or trying your hand at Ski Joëring (a winter sport where a person on skis is pulled by a horse), there are equestrian options for both novice and confident riders.

Mountain Walks and Hiking Alpine Trails
Chamonix valley and the adjacent mountains are full of scenic walks and hiking routes for all abilities. The Aiguille Rouge nature reserve on the opposite side of the valley is the perfect place to view Mont Blanc.
Rafting, Canoeing and Watersports
Rivers in Chamonix are great for all sorts of high adrenaline watersports including white water rafting, kayaking and hydrospeed. Lakes also are popular for windsurfing and swimming during the summer months.
